Stable Mabel !!!
See, I must be a good person!
Good News, Stable Mabel, are two words we like to hear,
Achancer123 that is great to hear. Long May it continue x
Hi Chancy, So pleased for you. Great to hear. Now...
No bumping off your moles. This is what you do:
Find the run and work out the direction it came FROM.
Then get a tin of Jeyes fluid and a packet of cheap T-bags.
Soak half a dozen T-bags in the Jeyes fluid and pop them into the run. Back-fill the hole without burying the T-bags - leave them in the tunnel made by the mole.
They hate the fumes and will retreat. With a bit of patience, maybe a few more goes if they emerge elsewhere, they will leave your garden.
Planting alium moly (wild garlic - lovely yellow flowers - around your boundary - will also help deter them.
Be good now. No wildlife murder.

These don't work. I had two and the mole came up right next to one! They like a laugh. See my other post.

Hi Morton,
Sorry you're feeling grotty. ellie is right about the ginger. You can make ginger tea by simply grating fresh root ginger into a pot and pouring over boiling water. Don't use your regular T-pot as it'll make everything taste of ginger. Leave to brew for a few mins and pour over a big teaspoon of good honey. Slice of lemon also if you like.
You can also freeze the cold tea into ice-cube trays and pop into some dry-ginger mixer - booze optional.
