Sarah49 , I'm taking both Amitriptyline and Pregabalin, MST and 9 other different tablets, mostly for my heart because of a heart attack and a stroke and then my weekly EPO for the bone marrow cancer.
In late February I'll have my 5th or 6th appointment with the chronic pain doctor so they are trying. As someone said (may have been you), nerve pain is difficult to treat. I don't get down about it, well that's not strictly true especially when my back feels like it's breaking, I've accepted that the pain is always going to be there but I always have a little figure of hope on my shoulder.

Following on from my quacks appointment tomorrow, I am hoping for a prescription covering custard tarts, ring doughnuts, bacon rolls and some beer.
Won't improve my prognosis but will help my day.
