Morning all. I am nice and warm looking out of the window hoping everyone can get to work and contribute to my pension!
Any northerners seen any waxwings yet, they have not come down as far as us yet?
Anyone thinking ... what is that maniac going on about now?...
It's a bird that comes to Britain when it's food, mainly berries, fails in Scandinavia. Large flocks the 'irrupt' from there to here.
There are only about 500 or so here at the moment mainly in the North.
When they are within 50 miles or so and have found a nice Berry Bush I will go and twitch them.
Sounds odd to me now but I am odd.
