Been on this journey for four years, never felt the need to express myself before, do people actually listen?
Thank you for your quick reply, I don't even know if I'm in the right forum (hurdles everywhere lol). I need to talk and texting I'm OK with. I have incurable anal cancer secondary vulval immunotherapy treatment seems to be doing well but my external lumps are growing. I've recently met someone and wonder do I broach the subject or just accept it won't go anywhere
i could only speak from if it was me,
I would have to approach the subject and be honest with them, for me either way, i would have nothing to lose,,
why just accept it will not go any where, you do not know, either way its a catch 22, be honest, and see what the out come is, Yours is a very personnel type of cancer, and yes you can not hide it as such,
I hope others come here for you, there is a group for anal and vulva cancer, here you have all different types, you could try them as well, and still stay here.
Immunotherapy is the new way forward in a lot of cancers these days, even though there are different types,
I did well on mine for lung cancer, i finished two years in Dec2018, and only last yearhad to have small dose of radiotherapy, so for you things may improve.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
