Hi fellow incorrigibles,
I had a little reminder yesterday that you can't take anything for granted. I was cycling home from the hospital after having my review bloods, as I was crossing a junction a car speeded down the wrong side of the road past the queuing traffic and turned left, narrowly missing me, it was only afterwards that I realised the car was being pursued by an unmarked police car..!
Today I attended the funeral of the priest who married me. I'm feeling grateful to be alive.
Best wishes to all of us who have outlived our prognoses, and to those of you who haven't yet as well!
