  • Thanks All re getting home.  Feeling rested this morning and a restful day ahead I hope.  Hope you all have a good one :)

  • Well it is Saturday Morning, its still dark, clocks go back tonight, hate that, long dark evenings,

Up early, not my alarm getting me up, people next door banging and crashing, drills going and so on, they could

have let me know they where getting work done.

That's my moan, might not be the last as still early.

Have a good day every one, xx

Hi Ellie, that was not on! Not on a day you could have had a lie in! Let’s hope they finish today and don’t wake you tomorrow as well. It was raining when my alarm woke me up but it has since stopped, it is a dull grey day though. I am going out for my Covid jab soon.I am not looking forward to it but it must be done. I am going to see if I can call in at the shops to get bananas and a birthday card if my energy holds out. I am going to get a taxi there and the bus back if possible but it is a long walk to the bus stop so we will see.

    love and hugs

    Maggie xx

  • You just take your time Maggie, had my covid few weeks ago.

Suppose to turn out nice in this area.

To be honest i woke up and thought omg what that noise and got up to quick, at my age lol.

I have washing to do, and if i can, would like to cut my grass, but it knackers me lol.

    Enjoy your day xx

  • Hi Morton68, you take it easy and let the ladies look after you, your doing them a favour they really like spoiling you.

  • My Alarm clock is a flashing light, can't sleep with hearing aids in so not bothered by sounds, but everyone should wake up on their own terms not be forced to wake up by noisy neighbors

  • Hi Ellie and Alive, we have one way to drive in and out, if we go anywhere by bus we can walk along a pedestrian path to main road, 200 yards down hill to the bus, comming back we get off at the top walk 50 yards downhill to the path, ok when dry horrible when wet or snow

Hi all, I did it, bus both ways, had my jab and it hurt! I will never know how sometimes it hurts and sometimes it doesn’t! It is a complete mystery. I got the little bit of shopping that I needed. Now I am back home. Knackered! I don’t think I will be doing anything else today. Ovens on and I am going to just throw a pizza in. Treated myself to iced buns so looks like that’s my pudding.
    love and hugs

  • Hi everyone, I'm currently on a Stena ship in the Irish Sea on my way to Birkenhead and from there on to my daughter's house just outside Peterborough.

By popular demand from my friends in this group, we're stopping half way at a hotel in Stafford to rest our weary heads for the night and we'll start afresh in the morning.

I'll take a little break from the group, well I might poke my head in because it's so hard not to!

    Tvman xx

    Love life and family.
  • Enjoy your time with your family TVman, I know what you mean hard to resist taking a look at the group
