I think a lot of the changes are not for the better but then I am old and grumpy.

  • Thought you meant you had lost the plot and was now potty, lol well no change there

  • Oh yes I lost the plot along time ago I thought you new that RoflHuggingThumbsup

  • Of course i knew that, it takes one to know one lol. there coming to take us away ha ha, i have got to go out, so i will catch you when i get back. GP Appointment.

  • , on the subject of getting flu and Covid jabs, I am in the first group for Covid jabs because I have a blood cancer. Up to Monday I hadn't heard anything from my GP surgery so I rang on Monday morning to plead my case and I was given 12th of November. Now Mrs Tvman and I are going to see my daughter and grandchildren on 31st October in Peterborough for a week and we hoped to have had our vaccinations before that.

I'm sure I had been overlooked and Mrs Tvman thought that too. Our 36 year old son also lives with us. Yesterday, Tuesday, my wife rang the surgery because she's really worried and spoke to a different receptionist To cut a long story short (and I love long stories, look up my posts to here) she was given an appointment for the 3 of us for next Monday. Then an hour later at 1.30 the receptionist phoned her to ask us to go at 3pm for our jabs. So we're in the waiting room and our GP and a nurse came in pushing a trolley. The GP gave us the Covid jabs in our left arms and the nurse did the flu jabs in our right arms. The GP said that the Covid jab consisted of 2 types and said that people are saying that they have a sore arm. I've never had a sore arm and I'm happy to say I still haven't Slight smile

  • Had mine weeks ago do it at certain chemists now as well

  • Ellie, I found out an hour before that the chemist in the nearest town, 8 miles away, gives the jabs and they're free.

  • same here and flu jab

  • We're lucky that all prescriptions are free here, saves me a lot of money. I have 14 different meds on my list. I remember before they were free that we could pay about £90 a year as a bulk buy
