Here by special request, the latest in the Lovely Morning series.

  • Had yesterday daylight saving to summertime

  • Good morning everyone, lovely day here, sun shining brightly. Was it Moi who suggested having a bit of the same at Christmas? I'm in for that.

Having a bitter sweet time right now, I'm watching the London marathon and envious of the runners because my legs don't work any more. Well they move but should maybe say my back isn't playing ball. I always wanted to run it or perhaps the Belfast one. Never thought life would change so much but hey ho I'm having a happy life

  • Hind sight is a wonderful thing, we should have all done things when we were younger. No good looking back, it is go forward,

  • It is said that we don't know what's ahead of us. Too true, so very true

  • Answered the question then, No ne knows whats ahead of them, so you do things when you can do them, not put them of, so no good looking at what you wanted to,do ,should have done it, so go forward,

  • Morning all,

I see that the night shift was well-oiled last night by all accounts. Glad you had a lovely evening ellie.

So what is everyone's favourite tipple these days? My alcholic choices have rather shrunk.

Since the stomach surgery I can no longer drink anything that has a fizzy mixer in it. But having said that I can manage Prosecco for some reason. Why I have no idea. They're all fizzy. So out went the G&Ts etc. Also stopped the red wine I very much enjoyed. All I can say is 'Thank God for Metaxa.' At least I can still have that. Salut!  Rainie x
