Hi everyone, tomorrow Mrs Tvman and I leave idyllic County Down and travel to Belfast for the Liverpool boat that docks in Birkenhead (weird). We're taking the car for the first time ever because we didn't want our flights cancelled or trains delayed or cancelled.
A couple of days in Chester and then on to Northborough, just outside Peterborough to visit my daughter, son in law and grandchildren Harry (6) and Lucy (1). Can't wait to see them all, haven't seen them since May. We used to go every month until the pandemic started and then it wasn't possible for me to travel.
I'll drop in now and again while I'm there just to see if you're all behaving yourselves, especially you Ulls
Take care and stay safe everyone
Tvman xx
PS does anyone know what we could do in Chester on Friday? Not the zoo, my motorised scooter wouldn't manage the distances!
Thank you Moi, Chester is a nice place, we didn't get on the wall which was built by the Romans, we saw what's left of the amphitheatre and other things. We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights because it was easier to do that. We stayed in the Double Tree by Hilton and we were well impressed.
Currently in Bakewell for lunch and the village is so busy. Hard to get a parking space though. Thanks again Moi
Take care and stay safe
Tvman xx
