I've let myself down again, just jealous of your relationship with the northern one. I always thought it was just me and you now this melange a trois has started.
Ellie, a little while back in this thread you were talking about doing the ironing. You said you enjoyed it. I know a few other people who also enjoy it but I cannot understand why. I once read an article that worked out how many years of our lives we spent doing different things. On average a woman [well, it was usually women who did the ironing] spent 2.5 - 3 years of their lives ironing. Crikey. I no longer iron anything and have leaned to enjoy crumpled linen - which looks better anyway without ironing!
But I am curious to know what you iron? My Mum ironed EVERYTHING including underwear and flannels and towels. All the elastic in her undies used to melt but she still carried on. Force of habit. Are you a compulsive ironer ellie? I think it's a generational thing maybe. Rainie x
