Are you reading anything at the moment? I like to read. I'm reading Five Little Pigs by Agatha Christie currently which I have read before but I love this book and can reread it always as it's very good. I find reading very relaxing and also perfect for a hot evening like tonight.
Yes, I like to read. I have just finished one book written by a doctor who had to go all over the world repatriating sick or injured people.
A mixture of hilarity with a bit of sadness. The moral is don't hurt yourself abroad!
Now reading a customs officers life, really just laugh out loud. No misery on this one, not yet anyway.
Both those books sounds an interesting read.
I don't read much humour but perhaps I should start doing that, it does good to laugh.
I've just finished 'A Fine Madness' by Alan Judd. It's about the murder of Christopher Marlowe. Terrific.
Going to start 'Clara & The Sun' by Kazuo Ishiguro.
Just ordered this

Love reading about that period.

Yes, my problem is books that are made into films
if I read the books first, I’m guaranteed to hate the film
if I see the film first, I hate the book
(and it is as strong as hate)
eg I loved The Book Thief (book) I re read it over and over but when the film came out i thought it was terrible
I saw Harry Potter films then (tried) to read the books but kept falling asleep
