Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been posting here because my wife was diagnosed with rectal cancer and she's been having chemo and radiotherapy for the last 5 weeks almost.
I am still growing but I took a break. Need to show you one of my little tomatoes though
Hi Donna, thanks for the compliment, I'm still trying. Honestly, it's a tomato lol. And thanks for asking about Mrs Tvman. She has only 4 more radiotherapy sessions to go as well as the chemo tablets, 4 each day, then nothing for 10 weeks because the radiotherapy is still working. At the end of the 10 weeks she'll have a CT scan followed by a meeting with the oncologist. If there's still some tumour left then surgery will be required which she's hoping that won't be the case.
She's having a lot of discomfort and pain after taking her chemo tablets twice a day but that settles down after an hour or so. Sometime she'll have no pain and normal bowel movements we hope.
Take care Donna and everyone
Tvman x
