As many of you know, we have recently loved to a brand new house. So many plans for the garden.
Decided to make some plans today.
The garden backs directly into woodland.
Leaning into our post and rail fence, admiring the bluebells and amazed at what is popping up.
Hang on, I recognise that plant oh yes, Japanese knotweed! Tears all afternoon. Got it properly identified, ....known as ....that's the value of your your property halved amongst other sayings. Please laugh, I would.
Toodlepip.
Ted
that’s awful, I’d be asking the surveyor why it wasn’t spotted. If there are developers on site next door at least you should be able to force them to get rid fast hopefully at their expense due to their obligations to avoid it spreading to your land

be safe, be nice, be you
Zoomed in on this post, with such a good (appealing) title including "amusing". FYI I am someone who refers to gardening as "housework outside". It just doesn't float by boat. Like looking at a nicely kept one of course.
Didn't understand it I had to google Japanese knotweed to get it. I hope you get it all sorted out to your benefit, Mr Ted.
