Hi all. Frank is doing ok but struggling with his drinking. He would like to take a few big swigs down to ease the thirst but has to be satisfied with a few sips, not exactly pleasurable.I
He has a daily nurse who is very good and seems to be knowledgeable. Good for Frank and his wife.
He says he is in a bit of a daze but says to let everyone know he is still here. A strong man.
Thank you for the update. I’m glad to hear he has a daily nurse. I hope he knows we are all thinking of him x
Hi Ted, Thanks for the update. Please pass on my best wishes. When I was in the Cancer Hospital I could not quench my thirst and if I drank too much, it just came straight back up. What they did was give me small ice cubes to suck to start with and then after a few days, they diluted Ribena Blackcurrant and made the ice cubes with that. It worked well and something his wife could maybe try!
Please give him my love and send a virtual (((hug))).
Love Annette x
