Hi All,
Just been watching the BBC programme in which a bunch of celebs do a pilgrimage ( this series was from Ireland to Iona in footsteps of St Columba). I am not religious but I do like to see how people are affected by going on a long walk with a bunch of people of diverse faiths and beliefs. Anyway made me think about what my idea of heaven and hell would be, so I invite you to put in your own thoughts - humourous or serious, over to you.
To start this off
Heaven
A comfy chair in a library in a peaceful setting, with woodland walks and a lake, but with access to an ongoing music festival nearby, when I need to dance and laugh.
Hell
Taking part in an ongoing everlasting reality show with celebs and a maniacal audience.
Of course - they will be comfortably kennelled nearby - hence the woods for walks. Mind you, if all my dogs are there, then we will form quite a pack , 13 in total over the years, from snappy jack russell to athletic greyhounds and my little fat staffies. I might need staff as well!
Was on bbc 2 and just called "the pilgrimage". I watched it on iplayer.
Thank you ownedbystaffies. I'll try to find it tomorrow xx

I did think that your entire pack would be there. They have to.
Thinking about it, the Jack Russell may be somewhere else - he was a nightmare ( all because of the way he was treated originally, so maybe he will get into heaven after all)
All dogs have souls, they all go to heaven most deserve it more than us!
OBS I think I have seen a previous series of this programme. They did the santiago de Compostela pilgrimage. Myself and my Dad talked about doing it ourselves, but neither of us are capable now. I’ll check out this recent series this week x
We saw that one. Very inspiring. Would have loved to do that even with the mix of people that had on it. Liked everyine.
They were a really good bunch weren’t they. Good to see people encouraging each other with no hidden agendas xx
