Has anyone else taken advantage of these policies?
I have taken out 3. All the ones I selected repay all payments made if you die in the first 12 months and after that pay the agreed amount when you die. Up to about 10k depending on what you pay each month
they are guaranteed pay outs and many give you a £100 gift card or similar when you sign up
my guess is there’s no way my wife is going to lose out on this as the savings being used to make monthly payment will either be returned so no loss. Or as is my case they are all now over 1 year old so she will get the full payment from each of them.
It was the no medical questions, guaranteed acceptance, guaranteed payout that pricked my ears up and as I’m mid 50’s the payout rate is it’s highest as they think I’m likely to live a long time and end up paying in far more than gets paid out.
Richard
be safe, be nice, be you
Hi Richard. Yes both and my other half took out an over 50’s policy last year. A close friend of mine passed away very unexpectedly last year, leaving no funds for her funeral. It made me realise that nothing should be taken for granted, and we both needed to make sure the children had nothing to worry about. Xx
Now I'm not suggesting anything here but If I see Richard again with the Canaries in the background and an expensive hair do and colour, I will be wondering about commision?
