Why is it of all the news you get when in hospital the worst bit is always
you can go home soon we are JUST WAITING FOR THE PHARMACY. or is it just me?
after my last op I had 3 hours of waiting till I insisted they check what I was waiting for to be told nothing as it was a blank script sent because I didn’t need any new meds
It is indeed the same everywhere I think. I was discharged last time quite early and was ready to leave after breakfast and husband duly arrived to collect me. But by the time the meds came down I was sweltering in all my clothing and they were bringing round lunch. I was advised to have a jacket spud while I waited. I asked if they'd send one down for my husband as he'd been there for hours. Hanging around like that is an exhausting business. Rainie x
