After my initial diagnosis that’s all I could see, over time things improved. I felt don’t they know how insensitive. 

Yes all I saw was cancer adverts and life insurance . I wouldn't mind I'm all sorted on that front and don't need constant reminders. Stay safe  x

Yes I feel the same. They are on all the time it seems. I do my best to block them out as we we really don’t need that every day.

Yes, horrid recliner chairs - always a dreadful design. And why would you want to make your bathroom look like you're living in an institution?

Thank God for a phone you can block the numbers on. I can't even be bothered to talk to them I just let them witter on with their spiel and block them mid-sentence. Very satisfying.

My mother, before the advent of such devices, used to keep a football whistle by her phone and whenever she got any call she deemed a nuisance she let them have a loud blast and then put the phone down. Football whistles are not expensive either.
