Fourth Jab

Had my fourth jab this afternoon, and then slept the afternoon away. So hopefully I will feel normal again tomorrow - after 3rd jab I was fine on the day, then slept whole of next day.

CT scan due Saturday, but no doubt I won't get results till end of March, which given my issues with this chemo is a pain. I have review on Monday with oncology so will see what they are suggesting. Would be so much easier if we knew if the chemo was doing anything or not. But, that's the state of the NHS with so few radiologists to do the reporting. Be nice if our leaders would actually get around to publishng a workforce plan for the future. Won't hold my breath.

I had my 4th jab in the Ulster Hospital in Belfast and as with the previous 3, I didn't have any reaction. Lucky I guess.

I hope your CT scan goes well tomorrow and I agree with you about the lack of radiologists.

I get my 4 th jab next week. I had to ask my oncologist to ask my GP for it in his letter.
i also then had to ring the GO to chase it before I got a date x

Oh Ruth, you shouldn't have had to jump through so many hoops to get your date for a 4th jab. In my case I received a letter inviting me to book my jab online. I turned up on the day without my wallet which contains all my IDs. The nice lady was kind enough to allow me to get the jab. I feel so much better having the extra barrier to Covid.

It is a pain having to chase, I seemed to be inundaed with letters and emails telling me to book one. I said I slept all afternoon Thurs and assumed I would be fine Friday - no such thing, was shattered until the afternoon. So I hope you feel better after yours, but be prepared . Hope you have someone to wait on you.

Hi ownedbystaffies I had my 4th injection on Friday, doctor rang and I choose the day a walk in clinic, sore arm only, it's a lottery how treatment is provided, sorry to hear the problems your having.
