Hi

I’m just  sat waiting for my third radiotherapy treatment, with my book in my bag.
Can anyone recommend a good audiobook (for when I’m at home, as won’t hear my name in hospital, with earphones in Joy)

I was thinking Billy Connollys book, has anyone listened to it? I need something to put a smile on my miserable Confounded face!

Thank you

  • I'm enjoying Richard Osmans Thurday Murder Club right now. I have Eddie Halls autobiography in line next. I will have a look in my library of audio books to see if I can see anything to make you smile

  • We've all the Philip Marlowe ones by Raymond Chandler which are BBC dramas with Toby Stephens playing Marlowe. His voice is great and the stories are wonderfully slick and atmospheric.

We also have the 'I'm sorry I haven't a Clue' recordings. We found them very funny, but as you're younger they might not appeal so much. Wonderfully un-PC.
