My daughter picked this up and sent it onto me. It's the work of an American artist and it's amazing. She works with images taken from electron micriscopes and in collaboration has captured the images of different types of tears, which have also been analysed in the laboratory for the first time. You might have thought that all tears are the same. I'm sure that we have all cried many. But it turns out that chemically they are all very different. These differences have now been captured on film.
The different images are of the tears shed as a result of different emotions and they reflect the different chemicals shed in tears that are created for many reasons. Our bodies are just incredible. If you'd like to see more here is the link. I hope you find this of interest and wonder. Rainie xxx
Hi Rainie, I have tried to reply to this but it said the moderator was looking at it or something......who knows!
Anyway, when it rains, I play "chase the raindrop" with our grandchildren! You choose a raindrop at the top of the window and follow it down to the bottom to see which one gets there first. No two take the same route or go at the same speed! The children love it and we do get a lot of rain in Scotland, it is what keeps it so green!
