Heartbreaking sad news

Hi everyone yesterday had to have my dog put to sleep he was 15 years old but still ran round like a 2year old he had a mass on his heart that they couldn't operate on lost two best friends in a week Simon and now my dog don't know how to cope at the moment just so upset xxx

Oh Popgate, This is something that hits us so hard. You gave your love and compassion to this lucky creature and were rewarded with the unquestioning love that only comes from a loved companion animal. That in itself is a special thing to cherish. Maybe in time you will feel able to bestow that love onto another - maybe an elderly rescue who will be able to share time with you and feel the great benefit of your company. Thinking of you.
