Dreams about death

I have not been sleeping well for quite a while, but when I do sleep I sometimes dream about dead people, usually relatives; aunts, uncles and cousins. They are usually reassuring me that death is not to be feared.

I also have apocalyptic nightmares, but they never contain people that I know.

Does anyone else have dreams where they are reassured about death by familiar people?

That’s interesting no more dreams after surgery.

I don’t enjoy my dreams and am always glad to wake up from them but I don’t remember them in detail x

He is a threat in that he causes lust in women, gets tiring sometimes. (Then I wake up)

In some cultures that would be considered attractive. Open your mind a bit! And anyway my ears are quite a feature, much sought after in the bear world.

Yes ruthjp the said the tumor was where you make decisions and risk taking.. So i'm glad it's just the dreams and i'm not becoming a big risk taker lol

Actually , yes i do...i always dreamed , a lot all my life. And i was talking in my sleep too, but now i just started snoring, oops.

Hi Salis

I have had weird dreams since starting chemo but not about death

During my working life I held the hand of many in the night who were alone and dying, so though I don’t want to, it doesn’t frighten me. The one thing they all had in common was looking completely at peace & with serenity - straight afterwards

It’s bound to be on your mind so the brain doesn’t rest I guess. I have hot chocolate or green tea before bed (and use a lavender pillow spray.)

Others prefer Sherry or wine!
