Hi, After an anxious wait, my oncologist tells me that as far as he can tell, I'm still 'Stable Mabel'. Also, the shadow on my lung looks better this time than the scan before. He points out that this is his analysis - in our hospital they are acutely short of radiographers who write the scan reports and he's waiting up to 8 weeks for those. He didn't want to keep me hanging on that long. So I think that maybe I can relax and enjoy the little break we have coming up - another bit of beach to walk on that's not too far to drive to. I'd been worried about my lungs as I've been getting breathless but my surgeon says it's scar tissue from the massive surgery and the infection that followed. So breathing that proverbial sigh of relief. I felt so relieved I immediately booked for an online painting course. I think it'll do me good going outside the old comfort zone. Love to all of you.
