Hi everyone, I don't post much as I never feel I have much to offer. But i would like to ask a question . I have untreatable bilateral lung cancer. I don't appear to have any symptoms (I have plenty for my other maladies) I have applied for attendance allowance on advice from my gp (she brought me the DS1500 form) That seems to imply she thinks my time is limited. As I live alone I feel the need to get my affairs in order as much as possible. I always thought doctors won't ever give a prognosis, but is that true? Thanks for reading.
You realise Rameses that would be 16 names on your arm if you choose that! It might look like a list. What about initial letters of everyone's name written as an anagram? Or a small initial on each bird coming out of the feather but that is still a lot of birds! Maybe you could put half and your wife the other half of the birds?
If I'm completely honest, I'm not too keen on tattoos but I have seen a couple that are terrific. It needs a lot of thought! Good luck!

You’re absolutely right, it does need a lot of thought. I certainly don’t want a shopping list of names on my arm. That’s why I’m grateful for any ideas and feedback before I commit to this
I need to do some research on some tattoo websites to see if I can find a nice symbol or drawing that I can tie back to my family somehow.
I haven’t got to do it straight away, I need to see how it fits in with my chemo first as I suspect I need that to be dormant before I’d be allowed to have one.
Cheers,
Take care guys,
Rameses.
Thanks matey
I have 6 kids and 7 grandkids. That might look like a mini universe on my arm.
Welcome the idea though.
I spent from 3 to 5am this morning browsing tattoo websites for ideas. There are some fantastic images but it’s really hard trying to tie them back to the kids.
I’m tempted by something something like this but with the word: Family, on the ribbon. Keep the birds but have 1 for each of the kids. What do you think?
Take care guys,
Rameses.
