Now this is likeThe Room but no swearing allowed. You can say what you want and there will be no autodirection to the Naughty Step. SiT sold that off for redevelopment anyway.

I will give an example of the type of thing expected ... I have just eaten three doughnuts and had two cigars, you will know if you wish to post by whether or not you find that interesting or relevant. I do intend to have more doughnuts later.

I think as I approach my prognosis date my posts may well become more disjointed and very hard to make any sense of. I expect forum members to say they have always found this to be the case!

Well my good friend Annette, maybe there could have been a small degree of misunderstanding but in the mists of time it is difficult to say for sure how things metamorphosed. That cannot be the correct word or even a word, this in itself shows how communication can go dreadfully wrong.

Consider the charge of the Light Brigade, did they mean to get rough with the Russians? No, it was a misunderstanding.

I make and rest my case.

I must get rid of these bottles in the correct bin, I can't see the bin and I have forgotten where I have put the bottles.

I will get my coat, I'm not well you know.

Hahaha, I can’t keep up with these two  and think we need Matron more than ever on here! It’s true, hopefully we can rely on our peeps to stick around if nothing else...

I was a Nursine Sister in Intensive Care for many years & am still pretty bossy in some respects. I also have a ‘look’ do you have one of them? xx

  • Well Tinalay, in that case youcan have the job as "sister" or apply for the soon-to-be vacant role of Matron!

Actually, my family tell me I DO have a look! I never need to raise my voice as the look is enough!

    Love Annette x

Same  I don’t need to raise my voice...& because I don’t a lot of people assume that although it takes a lot to make me lose my temper if I do it’s going to be spectacular. Actually that’s not true I don’t have much of a temper, if something annoys me I’ll say so at the time.

I think all the years of nursing had enough drama, no need to add to it xx

You can both be alternate Matrons. Its the only stability we have on here. Also when SiT falls off the 'Bastard' , he can post pics of his injuries for a professional opinion..

Win Win, I believe that is called in business speak. Toodlepip. Xxx

I knew I wasn't as smart as I believed. As I identified the lady who Tinalay is doing her memory walk for, this was construed, quite rightly as a breach of the guidelines and the lady's name has been removed. Please PM me or Tinalay should you need to know how find the link to donate or just to be amazed at the astounding amount raised due to the tenacity of our dear Tina.

I would normally blame SiT for any of my unhappiness suffered on here but he is just an innocent on this occasion. I am watching him though.

You're winding me up now my friend lol. I'm going to adopt the view that as long as you get the message across, it doesn't matter about spelng. I'm not sure if you couldn't remember what the French forJoy old is, vieux or more usually, ancien, and before the noun means old but after the noun means former! Oh, and it's copain, with an i.. Tut, tut. Allo, allo is springing to mind ha ha ha Joy
