Here is one of my dogs in the snow today
Our neighbours used to give us piles of their Guardians so we could line the parrot's aviary with them, so they do have some use.
I'm a Guardian subscriber OBS, so we can beat back these Daily Fail reading fascists together.

Only banter mate. At least I didn't suggest cutting down the redwood trees to make a peace camp. Fascists indeed. Save me Rainie.
I read the guardian for free. i used to subscribe but they cancelled the format i liked so now I'm a guardian reading freeloader. I have considered buying the paper version on Saturday, I do miss the feel of a physical newspaper.

Norberry, I think you're a big boy who can well stand on his own two feet. For the record, I've largely quit reading newspapers as the standards have slipped down into the gutter almost everywhere - with the exception of those who write for The Telegarph, who can at least spell and know where to put an apostrophe. My mental health is a lot better since I stopped listening to the BBC news and looking at the drivel that passes for journalism on-line. Rainie x
Finally, here is a pic of the new / old staffies for your edification ( or not)
I love a dog picture it is so comforting to see them lying peacefully xx
