I can confirm tomato ketchup gets rid of fox poo smell but it does make light coloured dogs go pink for a short while

I use dog shampoo but you could try washing up liquid

He is not unlike my Conan who is a Soft Coated Irish Wheaten Terrier. The three of us love him to bits and to join the shampoo debate, he loves to roll in fox poo. Thoroughly disgusting. He has Addison's Disease and as a consequence of that he has a skin complaint which requires a special shampoo. On the subject of tomato ketchup, we were told that a spot of it in a dog's meal eliminates the chance of his wee causing blemishes on a lawn.

He's  got you beat for looks tvman. Thats a fact!

We wash them in my shampoo, it's 'faith in nature' brand and apparently has nothing nasty in it, I buy it 5 litres at a time so we usually have plenty, and it's a scent I can tolerate which is a bonus. 

Our little Phoebe had an accident the woods, impaled herself on something. She had to have exploratory surgery and was stitched back together. She seems to be bouncing back well, she certainly couldn't understand why she had to be on the lead for all of her first post surgery walk today.
