I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Very quiet day after so much excitement, still feeling the glow
1Our son was here today & made me lunch, his homemade soup which is delicious. We had a good talk about how things are going and what might happen next, and also at what point we might consider the hospice. (Although there are no beds at the moment.)
2 Another beautiful warm sunny day, it feels so peaceful and seems to be here for the next few days.
3 My Amazon order arrived, 2 packets of Tim Tams! Completely indulgent, bad for the environment, cancels all the good behaviour points recently gained and totally fanbloodytastic!!! xx
Your opinions on the world in general now account fot nothing. Tim Tams! You wait until OBS is on your case, she recycles the recycling after its been recycled thrice already. Chocolates from Australia, Pet 1968 will be in accord with you, everyone else will be castigating you. Not me though, you can do no wrong in my eyes!
My Dad lives in Australia. He says you have to drink your whole cup of coffee by sucking it through a Tim Tam, like a straw.
But then Australians aren't a very advanced people.
Its probably worth mentioning a certain close relationship between an Aussie and our Tina.!
Hmmm ..well i don't like Tim Tam's but i love my coffee lol...not very advanced hmmm
Sometimes it is lovely to have a quiet day,
what a good son you have.
the wedding is tomorrow and I am now feeling nervous more than excited x
