I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Thats great Ellie, all the advice from those who know on here said to make sure you have a connection with the councillor . It seems that has worked out a treat.
Its certainly given you energy thats for sure. Enjoy your day out with your sister, you must be ever so pleased with today's events.
We had estate agents around today, I have never done so much housework in the last tree days. I thought we lived in a little bungalow not a 10 bed mansion! Xxxx
Hello ruthjp. I left a post about some new caps I found that you might like. I'm in the same boat hair-wise.
Meanwhile, here are my 3 good things for today.
1) Hubby made me panackes with maple syrup and apricots for breakfast. Super treat.
2) Had a Zoom call with my daughter which was just a lovely way to spend 2 hours and down a mug of coffee.
3) The sun is bright in our garden room and I feel warm and relaxed.Just enjoying the blue sky and watching the birds.
Well you never know what you can do until you try. I was always the cook, but my being in hospital for 2 months concentrated the mind and when I got home I found that my lovely other half could now whip up a pretty good curry; pasta with pesto veggies; stir-fries and some lovely Greek mezes and stews. He now bakes bread!
If you don't feel like cracking open the cookbook then a cuppa and some posh bikkies will always earn you some brownie points, as will an ice-cream sundae. No cooking required.
