I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

At last i have my 3 good things. 1. I have been awarded higher level Attendance Allowance. 2. I found a good carer company and had my first outing to a supermarket since I don't know when, and 3 I just got a phone call to say my second covid jab will be on 11 April, much earlier than I was expecting. Who would have thought a stroll round a supermarket would be so exciting.
Good three things. Lucky to get the second jab so soon.
I used to think going round the supermarket was a chore and a bore. Now I realise I took it for granted just getting out and seeing people would be nice. I still haven’t been anywhere except for a local walk I am looking forward to going to the shops again

Some very good things here
1 Finished the Memory Walk with a dear friend in a stunning location & a 20* day
2 Got into a spot of bother when my chair started to slide on a downhill & sideways patch of grass & burst into tears. Several people came to the rescue & were so kind & encouraging
3 Got stuck in the only patch of mud in Castle Howard & got rescued by the same bloke! He kindliy said they’d got caught out too & advised us to turn back which we did. Had a lovely glass of wine on the decking at home to celebrate nearly 40 miles £3500 xx
MASSIVE achievement!!! Really, really well done to you and all of your helpers. Marvellous!!!

Managed three good things.
1. Steamed the kitchen unit doors, first time in years.
2. Filled in the badger holes in my lawn.
3. Found a cigar and smoked half before I felt ill!
All this whilst La Norbette at the accurpunturist talking about my failings. That will take her some time.
