I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Hi,
I'm new to this forum but l already feel more positive reading your messages and feeling your support. I thought I'd join you and post my three things - as they are at the moment:
1) Big blue Norfolk sky with the sun out.
2) Being able to walk round my garden and see the bulbs and plants pushing through ( not many weeks ago I couldn't even walk).
3) Holding my husbands hand whilst we watch TV after being apart for two months.
Oh, and being able to eat a big soft boiled egg with hot toast....bliss.

Hi @Rainieday, welcome to the forum. Yes, there are lots of positives to this forum ( as well as some nonsense - mentioning no names, but you can ignore it). Envy you being in Norfolk - such a lovely county.
My 3 good things:
Sun shining again, makes such a difference to mood.
Veg pasty for lunch followed by enormous custard slice ( given I am a very healthy eater usually, it was a nice change)
Butterflies out - seen 2 today and several large bumble bees.
Custard slice...oh gosh.
Custard tarts with nutmeg on top...
creme caramel...
Now you've got my taste buds going.
