  • Hi Max

Good morning, it's good to hear that you have a date to kick start your treatment, 9th June isn't too far away.

My wife was offered another date for a scan on her back even though she spoke to someone from the private hospital two weeks ago to postpone the date until after my shielding period is over, so she was back on the phone yesterday again to ask for another postponement. She explained again that it's because I have a blood cancer that the three of us aren't leaving the property. She is being given one at the end of June which she's comfortable with. She's having the scan because of pains in her groin area. Must say that we're not going private, it's because our Northern Ireland health service is trying to reduce the waiting list for treatment (almost two years). Our government was non effective because of difference of opinion between parties, long story. Hope she doesn't end up in a wheelchair also, it'll be strange if both of us are in wheelchairs!

Re the teacher debate, I'm going to knock my stories on the head because some members and now friends were teachers and I don't want to make them feel uncomfortable.

This warm weather is relentless! It's great that we can get outside in the fresh clear air. It's a lovely morning here in Northern Ireland. , you mentioned growing up in Australia, are you still there? You'd be in the good company of if you are.

    Have a lovely day everyone.
