1. I'm just about to head off on a weekend with my eldest daughter (10) for a mothers and daughters activity weekend. It's raining but the wellies are packed! Hoping I survive!
2. Head a tiny 3 week old baby this morning - gorgeous remembering new life - so small and perfect!
3. Had a delivery of some amazing biscuits from a friend - special.
Have a good weekend all, despite all the hard.

I am awake in the wee small hours, listening to a puppy crying because she’s been left alone and fretting about the next few days. Perfect time to focus on my three good things.
1. watching my daughter train and love her puppy. They are a joy to behold.
2. My friends and neighbours who are going to help me out in the coming days. They are so great and I’m so lucky
3. A warm, comfortable bed on this cold night.
And now the puppy has stopped her crying. Miracles do happen
Hi great the puppy has stopped crying as that must be upsetting! Your daughter must have a way with puppies! Hope you can get loads of undisturbed sleep!
Love Annette x
Enjoy the puppy, they’re so much fun!
Three good things today:
1. Went for a lovely walk with family today along the beach and Fairhaven lake.
2. Some kind soul found my missing wireless earphones by the lake and placed them so I was able to find them on my return this evening!
3. Eldest granddaughter having a sleepover with us for s couple of days xxx
Bizarrely, I’ve had to post this as a reply rather than a new post in its own right, the forum seems to think I don’t belong in the group anymore....
Nice, !
Mine from yesterday
1. The briefest of walks in Knole Park with my niece and her wife. I didn’t get far but the sun on my face, the green in my eyes and the wind in my hair did a power of good
2. I found several Christmas presents and stocking fillers in the gift shop.
3. Watching my neighbour’s kids run round the garden with the puppy. She absolutely loves kids and they adore her too.
Hi Lass,
I had an MRI a couple of years ago and rang them in advance to advise them of my weight and size. They said it would be ok so I attended.
I got changed, was told it would take up to 40 minutes, got on the bed and was advanced into the machine feet first until they got to my belly which would not fit. They tried adjusting the height of the bed for about ten minutes then came up with the bright idea of asking me if I could breath in! For 40 minutes!
I politely declined and they arranged for me to attend at York where the MRI scanner has a larger capacity.
Love and hugs,
Gragon xx
It feels wrong to “like” your post Gragon although the way you wrote it made me laugh.
My three good things
I’ve completed leg one of my medical marathon - second immunotherapy complete.
I had a real struggle getting home and found myself slumped against a wall in the tunnel between the underground and mainline at Charing Cross. A kind lady offered me her arm. I took it.
My daughter made me a fried cheese, ham and pesto sandwich for lunch when I got home. Mmmmmm
1. I had a gorgeous pair of boots arrive today - I love them, my daughter thinks they are awful which cheered me up too - I am an embarrassing mum!
2. made chocolate brownies for my son to share with his friends - brownie points earned!
3. managed to dodge all the rain showers today (they feel never ending here in Wales this month) and get out on my e-bike. All mini jobs completed - achieved all I wanted to (small pleasures, but been really fatigued for a week following treatment so back to real life today).
Happy Friday coming up for us all I trust.
1) Had a lovely couple of days in the Welsh valleys visiting my brother and sister in law - clouds drifting past the window in the morning. Fresh crisp air, not the polluted muck we usually get. Also so very lovey birds visit his garden not the birds I have visit my garden so was nice to watch them feed.
2) Finally decided to pick out the day trips for my holiday - swimming with Whale Sharks and a visit to Chechin Itza.
3) My cousin managed to order her Stella McCartney Bra and it is on its way to her.
So have a nice evening everyone and hope tomorrow brings you all some good things.
