Im a 29 yo with Cervical cancer being treated in Mexico.

At first instance, I went to the public hospital here called IMSS, but due the lack of doctors and medication, I decided to take on through the private sector.

So far so good. Have had already 6 chemos, 25 radiations and 5 brachyterapy.

Now on my 2nd chemo road, hopefully with this one it will go away, so I can start travelling again.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read that you've been diagnosed with cervical cancer, but it's great that you're doing well on the treatment.

As you know, the online community is divided up into different support groups and I can see that you've joined the cervical cancer group. Although treatment mentioned in that group might differ to what you receive in Mexico, it would still be a good place to connect with others to ask questions, share experiences and get support.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
