Hi, I had breast cancer surgery and radiotherapy in 2023, I have recently started to get severe cramp like pain in my chest (either side) which seems to be triggered if I overreach but can occur just from just putting my coat on or turning over in bed. I am wondering if this an after effect from the surgery/radiotherapy? It is positional and only happens occasionally (like today when dusting and over reached to a shelf) so I don't think its in anyway heart related, I do think its muscle pain but I am wondering if this is just me? I did have a lot of shoulder pain after the surgery (I had to have surgery twice) but thats resolved so I don't think its linked to that. I have no doubt someone will say 'get medical advice' but I am not ill and don't want to take a Doctor or Nurse appointment if its something that can happen post treatment and will settle on its own. Just curious if its just me or not? Thank you

I'm sorry to read about the pain you're experiencing and it's natural to wonder if it might be linked to your breast cancer treatment. When I'd finished all my treatment I was given to contact details for the Late Effects Clinic at my hospital so that I could contact them if necessary. Does your hospital have this?
It might also be an idea to post this in the breast cancer group as you'll then connect directly with others who may have had a similar experience.
