Hi all,
looking for some advice, had a stoma reversal in January it’s now been 6 weeks after my operation and find I cannot empty my bowels fully and can be in the toilet most of the morning, This could end up with 6 visits in the morning alone, I was hoping it would improve more as I need to go back to work next week, also suffer with urgent need to go and the journey to work is 45 min really worried about both conditions as I could lose bowel control in the car or I could be in the toilet all morning in work, has anyone had experience of coping with this or has some advice to help with the condition and could help me being less worried about this.
Thanks in advance for your advise
Shewie
Hi Shewie and welcome to the group.
I’m sorry you haven’t yet had a reply to your post-my reply here will nudge it back to the top of the list where someone else may see it today.
I’ve got a permanent colostomy so unfortunately don’t have the right experience to help you out, but hopefully someone else who has been through a reversal will be able to share their experience.
