I have had an illestomy for 9 months due to rectal cancer. Was told it was temporary
Now I am passing stool from my back passage for the past couple days. My stoma output is still there
Is this ok?
Hi Kmck
I don’t have the right experience to help as I have a permanent end colostomy and therefore this can’t happen to me.
However, I have read posts very often in the community from others who have had this happen, and hopefully more members will come along and reply shortly. You could of course give your CNS a call just to get some reassurance. Hope it resolves itself soon!
