I'm a gay man in my early 40s caring for my husband, who has advanced cancer and is currently very unwell. I'm finding the experience incredibly difficult, particularly the messy transition from being husbands to becoming carer and patient.
I would really like to hear from other gay men who have cared for or are caring for a male partner with cancer. I'd particularly like to talk about the impact on the relationship - intimacy, affection, humour, being a couple, and trying not to lose yourself while caring for someone you love.
I don't particularly want medical advice. I'd just like to know I'm not the only person who has experienced this.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
