Hello my name is Heather I have just been diagnosed with brest cancer last week for the first time (and last I hope) Both my sisters have had cancer,one died seven month ago Im a bit scared of what to expect with the chemo. Can anyone tell me how soon after the treatment do you start to feel ill? How soon do you lose your hair?

Bloody Norah!!!! Right boob burst this morning, ended up back in hospital. They tried to keep me but as usual I escaped. All stitched back up by a man with the worst bedside manner ever (I told him so). Sister going bonkers and refusing treatment. Think I need a large beer lol xxxx
What a nightmare! Really hope you're feeling better now you're home & not in too much pain! So glad you told the guy about his atrocious bedside manner, hope it wasn't too traumatic.. Sorry to hear about you're sister aswell, I'm guessing you can do without that extra stress at the moment.

Thanks Heather. I feel like I am climbing a bloody mountain, every two steps forward I am taking two back. I am determined this is not going to get me down but I must admit it's hard with everything going on with my mum and sister. Anyway tomorrow is another day and I will wake up happy if it kills me lol xxxxx
