Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

Morning all,
Horrible morning here, just been to the tip but they wouldn't take Doreen, they're getting very picky these days!
Hi TG, what's a vib, is it some kind of Turkish chocolate orange? good to see you posting. XX
Well done Maggie we need all the good news we can get at the moment. XX
So on the subject of good news, hopefully Robin and Jan will get some positive news today from their oncologist.
Love to all,
Darling. XXXX
Are you stalking me again Miggins?
Love you XXXX
Possibly! (After yesterday!) XXXX
Oi! Wait a minute - I posted first. Cheeky!
But I take longer than you, so I started first!! I've been to the bank already.
XXXX
Robin-good luck with your appointment. Hope results are favourable x
Happy to report that I took on all of your good advice and the nurse from hospice came yesterday and she is arranging to get me some help.
I got to the point earlier in the week where I was totally exhausted and the lack of sleep was not helping my temper. I lost the plot one evening and got very angry with G, of course immediately afterwards I felt terrible.
G has developed a fascination with our waste disposal and water. He likes to fill the sink up with hot water to the point of overflowing and turns the disposal on and off. It was getting to the point of dangerous, so last night I unplugged the power to the disposal, which is under the sink. He tried using it again this morning and is most disappointed that it isn't working.
Yesterday, G's work friend and his wife visited. The wife should've stayed at home, she really PISSED me off. She sat here telling me what I should and shouldn't be doing. She was one of those people who knows everything, full of all this great advice. She soon shut up when G got up and nearly fell on top of her.
Oh dear, I will go now and get myself showered ready for a new day.
Love to all XXXXX
Again, thanks everyone
Hi Daisie, well done you. You and Mandy should have a chat, her Peter has a fascination with sorting the rubbish! As for 'the wife,' I think we've all had one of those types, just ignore them and they very quickly fade away.
Best wishes,
MartynXXXX
Thanks Martyn,
Yes, well "the wife" is very lucky that she didn't wear a left hook! I am after all a red head and we are well known for our fiery tempers.
Already this morning I have experienced some of the help that is on offer. G needs to have weekly bloods taken and 2 lovely nurses have just made a house call and it's all done, just like that. Last week it took me from 10am to 4.00pm to get G organised and down to have his bloods taken. Bliss, we can use his energy doing nice things. :)
XXXX
That's exactly what you should be doing Daisie,
I had to wonder, when you said G nearly fell on 'the wife' if he was going for a left hook himself!
Take all the help that is available, stay in control and spend your time loving your lovely man.
Miggins xx
Miggins, I am sitting here laughing my head off, I do still have my sense of humour. G's asleep at the moment and I should be doing lots of things around the house, but right now I really don't give a toss.
G's days and nights are all around the wrong way and I shouldn't be letting him sleep at the moment, but I am enjoying the peace and quiet. Last night at midnight he got himself all dressed up and when I enquired as to what he was doing, he said someone was picking him up to take him to the cricket. He didn't know who that someone was, but he was determined he was going out.
Keep smiling.
