Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread
Love Ali xxx
No, but hopefully he is reading and keeping up.
I'm wishing him peace and contentment.
Had a bit of a wobbly moment this morning when I was going through Ali's handbag looking for cards. I ran across a Tesco receipt from the end of February. It's a very sad item as it was the last time she did the weekly shop. The items on there speak volumes for our every say life and what she used to cook for me.
Very glam Debs! You look great.
Martyn. Thinking of you and wishing you strength.
Looking at all my Samantha Dickson and Hospice Christmas Cards and my heart is not in it.
Love to all

Just saw your Post Pete. Its the wee things like the receipts and texts and emails( none of which I have deleted). The appointment cards for Doctor.. The unexpected minutiae of a normal ordinary life.
A year go today we had a huge snowstorm and Mark insisted that we walk through the blizzard to fetch our daughter from the school which was closing. He could hardly put one foot in front of the other ..he was so tired( his only symptom). 12 days later we were in hell. How can a year have vanished in the blink of an eye?

My sister is suffering from no sleep and terrible leg cramps, does anyone know if there is anything that she can do to help this?
Hi llowe
Is your sister on the dreaded steroids? If so then this is likely to be the cause of the sleeplessness. They also cause muscle wastage and I know that Mark had very sore leg and back. Only things we had were Temazepam for sleep and dihydrocodeine , subsequently morphine for leg. I also did a lot of massage on his leg and he found reflexology helped. There will be some Cancer groups in your area that will offer alternative treatments. All are worth a go.
