Hi
mum has secondary cancer after breast cancer, she is barely eating and very depressed. About it to have radiotherapy this week, I am so worried but she think is I am nagging her. At my wits end
Hi Debp68
Sorry to hear about your mum though giving what she is going through her reaction is not that unusual but it can be very worrying to see. Hopefully she is talking to her oncology team about this especially the specialist nurse who will be looking after her.
In the meantime it may be worth thinking about your feelings as it is so easy to become overwhelmed ourselves and then really are not much help to anyone. I did a living with less stress course that really helped me and now can talk about my feelings in a way they helps us both.
<<hugs>>
Steve
