Hello
My mum has just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, she also has mixed dementia and a number of other issues, not sure how to handle this at all and any advice welcome. She was told yesterday and was very distressed all day but now seems to have forgotten
thank you
Hi Drews
So sorry to read about your mum and also sorry I do not really have much if anything to offer you except to let you know you are heard.
I wonder if the staff on the helpline may have some suggestions - just ring 0808 808 00 00 (open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm) - you could also post a message in our Ask a Nurse who might be able to help.
<<hugs>>
Steve
