Before diagnosis I had made a life in Spain. Started my own business, had a child although I was no longer with her mother, nice flat. In short a good life. I made a difficult decision to return to the UK for treatment (stage 3 c lung cancer btw). I felt I had more emotional support here. But I hate the fact I've now given up my old life. No work, no access to my daughter, and now my partner has left me. On top of this CT scans show I have possible tumors on my kidney and L1 node. I'm mentally really struggling at the moment and in my darkest times I do think of throwing in the towel.
