Coping with Anger

Hello,  I have Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma and have received my third round of R-CHOP chemo

This time around I have felt episodes of anger and I am lashing out to everyone around me. Apparently it can be a side effect of chemo but I have no idea how to navigate this. I am quite a calm person so I have no idea how to deal with this personality change.

Has anyone had experience of this and province some help?

  • Hi

I'm sorry to read that you are struggling to control your anger. It sounds like a very difficult time for you.

I don't have any experience with the type of chemo you're having but I can see that you did receive support from others in the Hodgkin Lymphoma group on this issue.

You might also want to take a look at this information from Macmillan on managing cancer and anger and see if any of the suggestions there help you.

    Wishing you all the best
