Hi - I am a 46 year old mother of 2 who was diagnosed with breast cancer in April. Had mastectomy and node clearance beginning of June 2022, cancer found in 15 out of 23 nodes so facing chemo ( starting August 2022 and RT. Cancer estrogen positive so sat here recovering from keyhole surgery to remove my ovaries which happened last Tuesday. My husband has been no support since diagnosis and his behaviour towards me downright nasty, He is fully aware I go to half pay in October but continually harrasses me to buy or spend money - on a new garage to house his motorbike ( and fill with crap as he is a hoarder) £10k that would have cost. Now he wants to buy a VW camper van - the reason - because he kicked off on me on Thursday night ( i was sat watching TV - he came back from the pub and started going on about some people and I just said i wasnt interested- he kicked off - saying I am lazy - and do Sweet FA - whereas he goes to work - I am on the sick - with CANCER!!!! Also had a surgery 2 days earlier! He picks fights all the time - cant say his piece then shut up just constantly goes on at me. Anyway - because he was such a idiot - my mother said we could not go to her caravan for the weekend - its on a small quiet site and the other owners would not be happy if there was a rowing couple a few plots down - now as he "cannot trust me" he wants to buy a camper. To be honest he kicked off when i put my death in service in the kids name - glad i did as all he wants is me to pop off so he can buy a Porsche, Anyone else dealing with this sort of stress? Determined to get through all treatment just to annoy him!!
