To cut a long story short today we found out my mums kidney cancer has spread to her liver and lungs and rather than months to years she only has weeks to months left, to say we are devastated is an understatement and I just cannot get my head around it, she’s currently in hospital but coming home sometime this week, she doesn’t know how long she has as her consultant thought it best to just tell her she is coming home.
