..Are there any other 'Pinkles' children out there? Dr Pinkel was the 'father of chemotherapy ' during the 1960s who introduced the idea of using more than one drug at a time to treat childhood leukaemia. The success rates rocketed.
I was treated in 1973 for A.L.L. (type undetermined) shortly after the 1st trials (95th peoson) with pinkles chemo. was wondering if there are any other survivers of around that era.?
Hi Midnightfish
I am not a Pinkles child but I did have ALL in 2012 so would have benefited from all the research that has gone on since the 1970's..
It may be worth trying a post in the ALL forum HERE to see if you get any responses. Great that you are still doing well!
