Hi everyone, I’m day 3 (just!) of cycle 2 CAPOX. Much more tired this time round, feel very vague and have been lying around a lot more than in cycle 1. The nausea has kicked in and I feel as though I have a huge amount of fluid sloshing round in my stomach with refluxing mucous. Woke up at 2am wired but exhausted and have been sat in the lounge reading since. Feel very lonely and fed up but don’t want to wake anyone up. I really enjoy taking my children to their swimming lesson on a Saturday morning and had already written this off, but am now realising I probably won’t be up to a long anticipated catch up with friends mid-morning either. Last cycle I found maintaining as much of my usual routine and social contacts as possible really helpful psychologically and I’m worried I’m really going to struggle without this. I hope it’ll just be for a few days then I’ll be back to doing a bit, but that can feel like a long time and the opportunity to see these friends will have passed. Feeling fed up and lonely at 4am.
